Grit Blasting 19–25 Charterhouse Street

We were appointed by a returning client to carry out grit blasting works to approximately 4,000m² of concrete soffits. The objective was to expose the natural aggregate, creating the industrial architectural finish specified by the design team.

Working systematically across all seven floors, our experienced team delivered a consistent and uniform exposed aggregate finish that met the architect’s approval and the project’s stringent quality standards. Careful planning and execution ensured the works progressed efficiently while maintaining a high level of workmanship throughout.

As part of our commitment to sustainable working practices, we utilised electric compressors in place of traditional diesel-powered equipment, significantly reducing on-site emissions, noise and environmental impact. In addition, we used 100% recycled crushed glass as the blasting abrasive, providing an effective surface preparation solution while supporting environmentally responsible construction practices.
