Sand Blasting - The Orbit, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Stadium, London.

We sandblasted the existing red steel tubes to remove all the old intumescent coatings back to S.A.2.5. Finish. We used 100% recycled medium grade crushed glass to remove the coatings. We then airless sprayed the steels with Sherwin Williams C400 2 pack primer to protect the steels from future contamination. We also used our own ULEZ compliant electric compressors to ensure no noise would disturb the public. All works have been completed in budget and on time for the client.
