Roll-tech services Ltd was commissioned to remove all the old vermiculite fire protection from the existing steelwork over 9 floors from the former spier & pond hotel at 15 old Bailey in central London.
We removed all the old vermiculite fire protection, we then sand blasted all the steelwork to remove all old paints and contaminates bringing back to S.A.2.5. Mill finish.
We then airless sprayed the steels with a Sherwin Williams red oxide lead green primer protecting them from future contamination.
We then airless sprayed Sherwin Williams FX5090 water based intumescent paint to all the steelwork to ensure a minimum 90 minute fire protection.
The former spier & pond hotel 1874 was apparently the 1st hotel in London to have electricity.
Later on in life was turned into offices.
And now is being turned back into a boutique 111 bedroom hotel again.
